The Superior Rooms at Borgo Vescine were once used to store olives before they were pressed into golden oil—an essential part of Tuscan daily life. These spaces held the bounty of the harvest, bearing silent witness to the rhythms of the land and the traditions of those who cultivated it. Today, they blend rustic authenticity with understated elegance, offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of the hamlet.

The Superior accommodations retain original architectural details such as hand-fired terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams. The furnishings, custom-designed for Borgo Vescine and handcrafted by local artisans, reflect a refined yet natural style that echoes the room’s rural origins.

Each space has been thoughtfully restored, preserving the historical proportions and materials to immerse guests in the Borgo’s timeless character. Bathrooms have been fully renovated and include soft cotton towels, bathrobes, slippers, and a carefully selected courtesy set. All bath products are locally made and presented without single-use plastics, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and regional excellence.

Superior Rooms feature high-quality sprung mattresses with a memory foam topper, as well as a choice of goose feather or memory foam pillows for restful sleep. In selected rooms, especially bathrooms, custom lime-based finishes recreate the texture and softness of ancient plasterwork.
